Kevin St Library has 2 group study rooms available to book for groups
of 2-5 students who need a space for peer tutoring, to work on group
assignments or practice presentations
Rooms A206 and A207 in the library can be booked for 1 or 2 hour slots from 9am daily. Each room has a plasma screen which can be connected to your laptop or to one of the Library student use laptops. The rooms also have whiteboards. A stationery pack with markers and erasers can be borrowed at the Library Desk.
A207 is the larger group study room and can accommodate two groups of up to five students (separated by a screen).
Bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis at the library desk. Alternatively email, tweet or phone (01-4024894) the library to make a booking.

hurry? One quick search by course code will bring you to the lists
for your program or module:.
- Start at the DIT Library Catalogue
- Select Title Search from the drop down menu
- Input your course code e.g. DT299
- Click on the required information links

Printing, copying, scanning queries? Datapac print service can help
Printing, copying, scanning problems or top-up queries? Need to link your laptop or mobile device to the printers? Contact Datapac at ditprint.ie who provide the student print and copy services across DIT.

There is also a student phone in the Kevin St Library copy/print room with a direct line to the Datapac helpdesk to help you resolve your issues faster. A line to the ICT Support Help Desk is also available.
The phone is located on the table beside the student desktop - just follow the instructions on the poster.

Your DIT student card is your Library card. #askus
There have been quite a few queries this week at the desk (as you'd expect at this time of year) about how to borrow from the Library. Just to highlight that your student card is your library card.
To be able to borrow books or other DIT Library items, you need to pick up your DIT student card. Once you collect your card from Student Services your DIT Library account will be active within 24 hours. Check Student Services opening hours and contact details are available here.

New library guides - for first years to final years - all your assigment needs.
If you're a first year or a final year student a new selection of general and science library guides are available to help you find the right information for your assignment needs. From finding an online dissertation, renewing a book loan or using a science database for the first time these can help you find answers to your research questions.
